Adam Budgor

Mr. Budgor is a Partner at CCL Capital, based in New York City. Prior to CCL, Mr. Budgor was EVP & Chief Strategic Officer for an Apollo Global Management portfolio company, now merged with Hilton Grand Vacations, where he oversaw M&A, various operating divisions, strategic initiatives, and real estate. Earlier, Mr. Budgor was a senior member of Credit Suisse's Real Estate, Lodging and Leisure Investment Banking Group and in related capacities at Barclays, Lehman Brothers, and Lazard. During his career in investment banking, Mr. Budgor has been involved in an extensive array of financial advisory activities including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and corporate financings totaling over $75 billion. Prior to his career in investment banking, Mr. Budgor practiced as a Certified Public Accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Budgor received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and serves as a board member for Bridging Tech.

Michael Lupo

Mr. Lupo is a Partner and founded CCL Capital in 2019 after serving for nearly five years as a Managing Director at DW Partners, a credit hedge fund. Since inception, CCL has acquired, originated, or advised on transactions in excess of $1 billion. At DW Partners, Mr. Lupo originated over $500 million of special situations real estate debt. Prior to DW, Mr. Lupo served as Director of Acquisitions at ESG Kullen where he invested and capitalized over $300 million of equity and debt transactions. His 20+ year real estate career spans securities analysis, CMBS structuring and diligence, acquisitions, and finance. He has a BS in Economics from The George Washington University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Director of Investments and Head of Asset Management

Jim Rowen, CFA

Mr. Rowen joined CCL Capital after graduating top of his MBA class at Columbia Business School. At CCL, Mr. Rowen is a member of the investment team and oversees a structured and comprehensive asset management process. Mr. Rowen has breadth of experience across markets and asset classes in acquisitions, asset management, and market research having worked with Lightstone Group, Triangle Equities, Mayfair Investment Partners and Dune Real Estate Partners. At Triangle, Jim helped establish a standardized asset management platform for its billion-dollar diversified portfolio. At Mayfair, Jim led acquisitions efforts. At Lightstone, Jim supported underwriting and due diligence efforts across firm's multifamily and industrial platforms. Prior to Columbia Business School, Jim worked in Equity Research at BMO Capital Markets. Jim holds a BBA from Villanova University and a CFA designation.
Senior Associate, Investments and Asset Management

Niko Plakoudas

Mr. Plakoudas is a member of the investment team at CCL Capital, where he supports investment underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution. He also helps execute a structured and comprehensive asset management process across the portfolio. He earned his MBA in Real Estate and Finance from Columbia Business School, where he served as Chief of Staff for the Real Estate Association. He previously worked with Savanna, underwriting acquisitions and real estate credit investments. Prior to Columbia, he spent five years at Prudential Financial in Debt Capital Markets and corporate finance roles, supporting institutional funding and capital markets execution. He holds a BA from Franklin & Marshall College and is conversational in Greek.
